At "We're Dog People," we are all about the unconditional love and joy that dogs bring into our lives. Founded by Jenny and Dave, our journey with dogs has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Our story begins with Jack, a lovable Goldendoodle rescued by Dave during his time as an Animal Control Officer for the SPCA. Jack, now almost 13 years old, has been a constant source of happiness and goofiness, even as he bravely battles a cancer diagnosis.

Then there's Skylar, our spirited mixed breed with Beagle roots. Her story touched our hearts deeply—scheduled to be put down, she came into our lives just when we needed her most. She reminded us so much of our beloved Seamus, who had recently passed away, that we knew it was fate. Despite a planned vacation, we couldn’t wait to make her part of our family. We arranged her adoption over the phone and found a foster until we could bring her home. Initially, Jack and Skylar were unsure of each other, but within 24 hours, they became inseparable, bringing new joy and energy to each other's lives.
